Duffled Dungeon Happens Tommorow

FINAL REHEARSALS AS DUFFLED DUNGEON LOOMS

The inaugural edition of Duffled Dungeon is officially happening tomorrow, Friday, September 11, at Goethe-Zentrum in Bukoto-Kamwokya. As final rehearsals wrap up, the immersive experience is set to kick off at midday, blending art, fashion, music, skateboarding, and community dialogue under one roof.

A Physical Extension of Contemporary Culture

Organized by Duffled Magazine, Duffled Dungeon serves as a live, physical manifestation of the publication’s editorial vision. Known for documenting the ideas, people, and movements shaping today’s pop culture and lifestyle, the magazine is turning its pages into an interactive playground where readers, collaborators, and culture enthusiasts can connect directly.

The convention is designed as a dynamic meeting point for a diverse crowd, bringing together artists, entrepreneurs, collectors, fashion lovers, skaters, students, and curious minds looking for a fresh cultural experience.

What to Expect: Skateboarding, Markets, and Cyphers

The event will feature a packed lineup of activities celebrating the raw energy of urban culture:

  • Skateboard Workshop: Led by headline sponsor Girl Skate Nairobi, a prominent community of female skateboarders from Kenya. Participants will get hands-on experience learning the foundations of skate culture and board-making.
  • Creative Exhibitions: Showcasing boundary-pushing art and visual storytelling.
  • Pop-Up Market: A space for local entrepreneurs, designers, and creators to display and sell unique fashion and lifestyle pieces.
  • Thought-Discussion Panel: A platform for culture shapers and thinkers to engage in conversations about the future of the creative industry under the theme: “Monetizing Creativity, Scaling Talent While Maintaining A Consistent Brand”.
